Over the last few weeks several brands released new NFL merch, just in time for the new season! With so many new drops, it can be difficult deciding what's actually worth buying. I'm sharing some of my favorite collections and pieces that i think are actually worth adding to your game-day wardrobe.

Our first topic is the rise of pop girls and football player couples! The most known couple of this trend is obviously THE pop girl herself, Taylor Swift, and Travis Kelce. These couples have become more popular in the last few years with some notable couples like:
2023: Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen and Singer/Actress Hailee Steinfeld
- Allen and Steinfeld sparked romance rumors in May of 2023 and confirmed their relationship when Allen hard-launched the pair on his Insta in July of 2024. They announced their engagement in a joint Insta post in 2024 and announced their marriage in June of 2025! They have remained relatively private about their relationship, but have since welcomed their baby girl, Harper Haize Allen, in April of 2026!
2023: Pop Star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce
- Probably the most well-known couple of this trend! Kelce attended "The Eras Tour" in Kansas City on July 8, 2023, where he later revealed on his podcast New Heights that he had intended to give Tay a bracelet with his phone number on it. Later on, in September, Swift stunned football fans and Swifties by showing up to her first ever Kansas City Chiefs game, in Travis' suite! Quite the hard launch! They supported each other at games and concerts, and Travis even made a surprise appearance on The Eras Tour stage in London! They announced their engagement on Insta in August 2025! They have not personally confirmed their marriage, but fans have speculated that they married over July 4th weekend in NYC!
2025: Singer Madison Beer and Los Angeles Chargers Quarterback Justin Herbert
- The newest couple added to the list is Madison Beer and Justin Herbert! They were first linked in August 2025 when Herbert was seen at one of Beer's photoshoots and she was later seen on the sidelines at one of his games! They have also remained quite private but have posted each other on their socials and Herbert supported Beer at the Kia Forum during her "locket tour!" They actually just announced their engagement today!! Congratulations to them!!
As someone who loves sports and my pop girls, I can't help but LOVE these couples!
While in recent years this trend has gained a lot of attention, it has actually been around for a while! Russell Wilson, new CBS Sportscaster and former quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, and Pittsburgh Steelers; married R&B artist Ciara in 2016! Some more notable singer/football player power couples are Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker (married 2013) and Normani and DK Metcalf (engaged 2025).
Something tells me we probably haven't seen the last of these dynamic duos!
